The Southern Ontario Facilitator's Network (SOFN) is a group of facilitators who connects through an on-line community. The aim is to share and learn from one another. The group has identified three broad aims:
- To learn and grow
- To recharge ourselves and our facilitation practice
- To build the practice of facilitation
SOFN has existed since September 2000. Members include independent facilitators, facilitators who work in a consulting practice, people who are in-house facilitators, and individuals who use facilitation as a tool as part of another primary role.
Communication is carried out on the SOFN e-mail list serve, enabling people to be active members regardless of location.
