We would also like to extend a heartfelt note of appreciation to Gerardo de Luzenberger (Italy), who concluded his role as Chair on 1 January 2026. Gerardo’s leadership and unwavering commitment have left a meaningful mark on our community. We are profoundly grateful for the steadiness and vision he brought to the Board. His role is now carried forward by Tamara Zivadinović, whom we warmly welcome into this position.

Our deep gratitude also goes to Shalu Bhuchar who stepped down from her role as Director of Marketing and Communications. Shalu’s generosity of spirit and tireless work in shaping our communications over the years have enriched the association in countless ways. As of 1 January, her responsibilities will transition to the office team. We thank Shalu with sincere appreciation for her enthusiastic contributions to IAF.
