With almost 500 methods for you to discover in a user-friendly platform, finding methods for workshop design, facilitation and group processes has never been easier.
Originally launched as the IAF Methods Database in 2004 by Jon Jenkins, the Library has grown into a living resource hosted in partnership with SessionLab.
Anyone can browse the Library, but most methods are available exclusively to IAF members (a key benefit of joining the IAF!)
Members: Log in with your IAF credentials, link your SessionLab account, and unlock full access. Having trouble? here’s a tutorial.
Micromodules
These bite-sized learning modules bring the IAF Core Competencies to life in just a few minutes each. Designed in partnership with IAF and SessionLab, they combine the official competency framework with practical tools, real-world examples, and interactive elements. Each module introduces one competency area, highlights when and how it’s applied, and links directly to resources like the IAF + SessionLab Methods Library, IAF membership, and certification pathways. Learners walk away with clear insights, relatable scenarios, and simple next steps to deepen their professional practice.
