The IAF Endorsed™ Facilitator (EF) designation is the first stage on the IAF Professional Development Pathway.

The Facilitation Impact Awards are the world’s most prestigious international awards honouring excellence in facilitation and the measurable impact facilitation has on the challenges faced by organisations.

[TORONTO ] The International Association of Facilitators (IAF) has been shortlisted for Best Conference Development at the International & European Association Awards 2020. IAF’s first-ever trilingual international conference, the 2019 Conference of the Americas, held in Portuguese, Spanish and English, is one of five projects nominated by the Association of Association Executives (AAE) in the category, which recognises the successful development or growth of an element of or the whole of an existing conference.
The world is at an inflection point on racial relations. The IAF board stands in solidarity with the black community and all communities of colour against systemic racism, white supremacy, and the injustices that have plagued BAME groups everywhere.
April 2020 has been a challenge for all of us who make our living by bringing people together. The IAF community has united around the challenge by supporting clients and each other to make the transition too new ways of facilitation that COVID-19 has made necessary.
What has inspired me personally is how we have created webinars, virtual sessions, the sharing of best practices and content, and the creation of friendships from all parts of the globe. Your willingness to help each other and share your time and expertise is what makes our community so special and unique.

These are interesting and challenging times for the facilitation community as the increasing global spread of COVID19 is impacting our ability to work face to face with groups and engage with communities.

The International Association of Facilitators (IAF) is solvent with net assets of $148,417.
After adjustments for membership dues paid in advance and conference registration fees collected on behalf of regional conference teams, total income for the year was $521,597. Expenses for the year were $505,348, resulting in a surplus of $16,249.
