Context

The International Association of Facilitators (IAF) is a participatory organisation with members in more than 65 countries. As a professional association we set internationally accepted industry standards, provide accreditation, support a community of practice, advocate and educate on the power of facilitation and embrace the diversity of facilitators.

For this purpose, the IAF communicates regularly with its members and other interested parties through a number of email newsletters and its website. We are now looking to hire an external contractor to assist us with the production of timely and high-quality updates.

Tasks include:

  • Copy edit articles and text for the IAF website, ensuring a consistent tone of voice and style and adding links to other sources of information;

  • Post articles and other content to the IAF website, upload accompanying images and documents and apply formatting;

  • Prepare newsletters and email updates for publication.

Background required:

  • Excellent English-language writing skills;

  • Experience with website editing (Drupal + CiviCRM preferred, some CSS + HTML required);

  • Simple image manipulation (cropping, text overlay);

  • Attention to detail;

  • Availability for ca. 10 hours per month (occasionally on short notice);

  • Interest in facilitation and related topics.
