From a single venue event to an online experience or something in between...

An online masterclass with practical tips and resources providing real solutions to keep the event happening even with travel limitations ánd group size limitations. A 90 minute webinar, on-line in zoom with up to 100 participants. Organisers can use their own zoom account. The speaker is author of books in meeting design including “Multi-Hub Meetings”. Multi-Hub is a format that combines local face-to-face groups with a webinar and can be used in crisis conditions. This informative webinar is organised by your organisation, the branding is yours.

This 90-minute webinar is about what we can do in case of travel and gathering restrictions: online, hybrid or even multi-hub meetings; there is a whole range of possibilities. Each format can be done as a simple DIY (do it yourself) video call or in an elaborate stylish production for 20 groups of 100 participants plus 500 solo viewers.
The engagement in online or hybrid events can go from just watching a live presentation to an engaging and more interactive experience. And it is essential for meeting professionals to acquire the basic knowledge on what is new, what is possible and what fits certain challenges and meeting objectives. This webinar lays the base and offers resources to develop the crucial capabilities and knowledge in this ex-panding segment of our industry.

PROGRAMME
This 90 minutes is scripted into four presentations:

  • Postponing: presentation and brainstorm on what can you do in case your event gets postponed
  • Webcast/webinar/video call: what is the difference? When to use which format?
  • Multi-hub meetings: What is it? When to select this format? What are the technical possibilities?
  • Engagement: How to design interactive experiences and engage the online participants? Get some tips on speaker and presentation management.

To walk the talk on online interaction there will be a break-out moments for small group conversations after each presentation, where participants get time to discuss a topic and complete a task.
