Has facilitation become too conventional or are we simply not seeing all the wonderful ways we are breaking conventions? In this session, we will explore the role conventions play in facilitation and how they impact our practice. In this members-only session, we will play with new ideas and provocative concepts and explore a walk outside our comfort zone. Finally, we will play a little bit with how we can take some of the insights with us into our daily practices.
Upcoming IAF events
These members-only sessions are dedicated to new members: creating connections within the IAF community, know about the great things that are happening in the community globally, and learn about the IAF benefits.
However, any member is invited to participate and contribute with their insights about their experience as members.
As you register, you’ll be invited to answer a survey so that we get to know each other (a bit) better and align our session to your needs.
Join us for this participative, interactive learning session with Stefanie Ashley and Gillian Martin Mehers. This session aims to deepen your understanding of Competency E and to exchange best practices so that you can use it to your advantage.
Together, we will be exploring Competency E, why it is important, and how to use it. We’ll also share personal stories of our own missteps, journey of learning, and successes. We look forward to meeting you!
This session is free for IAF members.
The event start and finish times will be confirmed closer to the event.
