How many times as we facilitate, we find out that there are hidden views, concerns and constraints that we wish we knew long before we walk in to the room?

Chapter:

How many times as we facilitate, we find out that there are hidden views, concerns and constraints that we wish we knew long before we walk in to the room?

How often do we see groups in blaming, downward spiral mode and we wish there is a way to shift them to see the “big picture” quickly, readily and elegantly?

In this practical virtual session, you will be equipped with a powerful framework that you can apply immediately to explore multiple dimensions and surface challenges and possibilities together with your clients (IAF Competencies A – Creating Collaborative Client Relationships in focus)

This integral framework creates a helicopter view and can be applied throughout the whole facilitation project, including client contracting, stakeholder interviews, client briefing and debriefing. It empowers us as facilitators to take the pulse with the group and ourselves -- “ What is going on in this moment?” – both the obvious element and the more subtle and nuanced.

This originates from the work of Ken Wilber, cited as one of the most important philosophers and theoretical psychologists of our time.  A comment on his work is “After reading Wilber, it is impossible to imagine looking at the world the same way again”.

You will also experience collaborating in a virtual environment, and we shall co-create an integral client interview template. Please ensure you have a web cam and headset for a full experience of the virtual learning environment (best experience via using laptop or tablet vs. connecting via smartphone).
