IAF Victoria Chapter professional development event

Thursday, 30 August 2018 - 6:00pm

The Facilitator Dilmenna

Limerick Arms Hotel, 364 Clarendon Street, South Melbourne

  • 6:00pm Networking – food and drinks available at bar prices
  • 7:00pm Professional development session (2 hours)

As a facilitator have you ever faced a decision that felt like you were between a rock and a hard place? Has someone ever asked you to do something that goes against your values but others see as the correct path?

The Facilitator Dilemma is a peer learning method, based on the Harvard Leadership Dilemma, designed to tap into the diverse perspectives and wisdom of small learning groups. The structured approach and atmosphere of thoughtful enquiry helps provoke thought and provide fresh insights into the real life dilemmas people bring to the session.

During the session you will have the opportunity to participate in a highly engaging learning experience with other facilitators. We will be looking for volunteers to share their dilemma on the night—situations that have kept you awake at night…when you didn’t know what you should have done next or what you should do now.

IAF members and non-members welcome.
