The Social Inclusion Facilitators Special Interest Group would like to invite all facilitators who are engaged in Diversity and Inclusion  or Social Inclusion work to our first virtual meet-up in order to share experiences, challenges and good practices.

Facilitators for the session will be:  Lillian Viko (Uganda) and Francis Wamwangi (Kenya)

Francis Wamwangi is a leadership development facilitator and has worked across not-for-profit and corporate organizations.  He joined the YALI Regional Leadership Center - East Africa, in July of 2015 where he facilitates sessions on Social Inclusion, Leadership Foundations and This is Africa. 

During previous assignments, he was involved in sustainability reporting and in the management of Fairtrade Projects.  He has been on assignment to South Africa, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Zambia, USA, UK, Hong Kong, Netherlands and Austria.

Francis is a member of the International Association of Facilitators. 

 

Lillian Viko, also a social entrepreneur, is an Education Specialist with a background in teaching, development work, children and youth programming, educational planning, economics and international development. Lillian has over 10 years’ NGO experience in managing and delivering youth, children, gender and community programmes in formal and informal settings within development contexts. Lillian has experience working in education, livelihoods, and health and governance sectors including developing and delivering integrated programmes. Currently Lillian is Heads the programme department at VSO in Uganda, where she is responsible for programme/project design and management, monitoring and evaluation, partnership development and management, business development, strategic planning, grants management, partner relationships management.
