Description:

All over the world, organizations and community groups of all kinds are exploring the use of facilitated group process in online environments.  The existing tools and technologies present both opportunities and challenges.

A new online platform called Trusted Sharing has been developed to expand the horizons of what is possible in asynchronous collaboration.  As a facilitator of same-time participatory meeting processes, such as Open Space Technology, I am fascinated with the question of how same-time and asynchronous online platforms can be woven together to provide powerful process-containers for collaboration and learning.  I have created this group to invite others interested in this topic to share and learn from one another.

We will be DOING what we are TALKING ABOUT.  Our Co-Mentoring Group will engage in written conversations on Trusted Sharing, and we will also come together for two same-time online meetings, using the platform called Blackboard Collaborate.  On Blackboard, we will share practices, questions, and ideas.  If we have enough participants, we will engage in an abbreviated online Open Space Technology session, and continue the discussion groups convened on Trusted Sharing.  I anticipate rich opportunities for learning!
