Keeping your edge means an intentional growth mindset

A oldie but a goodie! In 2006, Dr. Carol Dweck wowed the world with her research on why brains and talent don’t bring success. She shared the difference between a growth mindset and a fixed mindset. Either you work hard to grow and flourish or you believe ability is static and unshapable. And just “having” a growth mindset isn’t it either. It is about continuously developing a growth mindset; that is continuously questioning, understanding and believing that ability can grow. For a facilitator, it means keeping your edge.
