Since 1990 Catherine Rockandel has worked as a process facilitator, community and organizational engagement strategist and partnership planner for the public, private, non-governmental and non-profit sectors. She works with communities, organizations, government and companies supporting them to understand complex issues, to build relationships, facilitate collaborative planning, and enhance strategic decision-making. She utilizes a wide variety of tools and methods in the facilitation of organizational and public engagement processes throughout British Columbia. Catherine’s cooperative approach is equitable, builds trust, and creates opportunities. The results are sustainable relationships that leverage and maximize resources. Catherine Rockandel has a Bachelors degree from the University of British Columbia and a Masters Degree from Simon Fraser University. She has completed the International Association for Public Participation Certificate program and the professional facilitator program with the Institute of Cultural Affairs.
