Facilitation practice
In the last 18 years I have been designing and facilitating 500+ workshops and conferences all over the world for the public, development, and private sectors. Among my customers are the Asian Development Bank, United Nations, World Bank, USAID, GTZ (now GIZ), DFAT, five German political foundations, a number of international NGOs such as Oxfam, Plan, WWF and a contineously growing number of government agencies and private companies. In 2008 I obtained the IAF-CPF designation but I am also a member of the Association of Professional Futurists as a full member. I am a pioneer and promotor in sharing and training facilitation methods such as World Cafe, Open Space, Future Search, Appreciative Inquiry, etc. in the Mekong region. I am also a promotor of facilitating futures thinking and foresight to increase future literacy of organizations and individuals. I have written and published a number of publications. My Handbook for Dialogue and Collaborative Action, originally for a Thai speaking audience, has also been published in Vietnamese, Burmese, and Spanish. Since January 2022 I am also the (first) Chief Navigator of the Asia-Pacific Futures Network - the largest network of Futurists and Foresight Practitioners in the region.
