2022 Mentoring Update: 


Timeline for 2022 Mentoring Programme

  • Registration for Orientation Sessions by 15 July, 2022
  • Orientation Sessions on 20 July, 2022 & 21 July, 2022
  • Mentees reaching out to Mentors by the end of July, 2022
  • The IAF Mentoring Programme is completed by the end of January, 2023

The IAF Mentoring Programme is a formal 6-month programme to help members:

  • achieve their professional development goals
  • contribute to the growth of the facilitation community of practice around the world.

Note: Since this video was made, the process has been streamlined. Mentees and mentors only need to register rather than apply.

Mentees

To be a mentee you need to:

  • be an IAF member
  • commit to a 6-month mentoring relationship and having at least 6 sessions with your mentor
  • register as a mentee and pay a registration fee of US$100
  • participate in an orientation webinar on how the IAF Mentoring Programme works
  • commit to evaluating the programme by providing feedback.

Mentors

To be a mentor you need to:

  • be an IAF CertifiedTM Professional Facilitator
  • commit to a 6-month mentoring relationship and having at least 6 sessions with each mentee you agree to mentor
  • register as a mentor
  • participate in an orientation webinar on how the IAF Mentoring Programme works and mentoring skills
  • commit to evaluating the programme by providing feedback.
