IAF Mentoring Program

About the program

The IAF Mentoring Program is a formal 6-month program to help members:

  • achieve their professional development goals
  • contribute to the growth of the facilitation community of practice around the world.

Note: The process has been streamlined since this video was made. Mentees and mentors only need to register rather than apply.

Mentees

To be a mentee, you need to:

  • be an IAF member
  • commit to a 6-month mentoring relationship and having at least 6 sessions with your mentor
  • register as a mentee and pay a registration fee of US$100
  • participate in an information session on how the IAF Mentoring Program works
  • commit to providing feedback on the program.

The registration fee is not refundable after you start your mentoring relationship.

Mentors

To be a mentor, you need to:

  • be an IAF Certified™ Professional Facilitator (CPF)
  • commit to a 6-month mentoring relationship and having at least 6 sessions with each mentee you agree to mentor
  • register as a mentor
  • participate in an information session on mentoring skills and how the IAF Mentoring Program works
  • commit to providing feedback on the program.

Sorry, IAF Certifed™ Assessors are not eligible to be mentors. We need to manage potential conflicts of interest when mentees apply for IAF credentials.
