An IAF LAC 2025 Free Shine Online Session with Marcelo Egea de Miranda

Many Facilitators are also Coaching and Training professionals. Therefore, this session will attract participants from all three areas of professional practice. Marcelo Egéa will focus on the application of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI) to coaching while acknowledging its general application to professional facilitation. The objective of the session is to show how GAI can be used as a support tool for learning and practicing coaching skills in an experiential and practical way. He will facilitate this engaging session using Pre-Trained AI assistant. This will be followed by debriefing, Q & A and information on creating an AI assistant.
 
About Marcelo Egéa: Marcelo is a Specialist in simulations, business games, experiential learning, and the use of Generative AI to enhance behavior and human performance. He is also a psychologist with a postgraduate degree in business administration. Since 2000 he has owned SerTotal.com. With his extensive experience as a facilitator, he has an impressive a client portfolio which includes companies such as Lubrizol, Amyris, Olympus, Open Labs, Ingredion, Louis Dreyfus Company, GM Financial. As a native of Brazil, he speaks Portuguese, but he is also fluent in Spanish and English and works in all three languages. A member of the IAF (International Association of Facilitators), Marcelo is certified in MTa Learning. He is also a Practitioner of Liberating Structures, in Neuro Lingusitic Programming (Master/NLP), Everything DISC, Neurocoaching, and the ToGrow Coaching Model. For 9 years, he organized the Global Management Challenge in Brazil, a worldwide business game competition present in over 30 countries.
 

The session will be facilitated in English but it is open to speakers of different languages as Zoom Translation will be available. We place a high priority on language inclusivity to foster greater networking and sharing of knowledge across the region.
