Elections to the Board
About the Board
A Board of Directors governs the International Association of Facilitators (IAF).
- Directors are elected by IAF members and serve on the Board as volunteers.
- The Board selects a director to be the Vice Chair and Chair.
Directors are elected for a two-year term and around half the positions on the Board come to term each year.
Elections are usually held in August or September. Elected directors start their term on 1 January.
Nominating Committee
As set out in the IAF Bylaws, a Nominating Committee of IAF members manages the nomination and election process. The Nominating Committee has now reviewed each nomination received against the criteria and confirmed the slate of candidates for the election. In the coming weeks the Nominating Committee will:
- invite all members in good standing to vote using a unique link to an online election platform
- manage the voting process
- announce the results.
